STUDENT TO STUDENT: SCALE's National Youth Literacy Network

Program Overview

Through a generous grant from the UPS Foundation, SCALE’s STUDENT TO STUDENT Program will enable under-served adolescents to demonstrate improved literacy skills and attitudes toward learning. Working initially in communities of selected campus-based literacy programs, college student tutors will be trained in a comprehensive volunteer tutoring model specifically addressing the needs of adolescent learners. Subsequently, the STUDENT TO STUDENT model will be disseminated to campus-based literacy programs around the country.
