Strategies for Success is an educational program designed to
help mature students reach their academic goals. This
material is especially appropriate for individuals involved
in pre-GED, GED, or high school completion program.

The Strategies for Success: Writing, Pre-GED is divided
into six sections: Capitalizing Correctly; Using
Punctuation; Writing Clear Sentences; Nouns, Pronouns, and
Adjectives; Using Verbs and Adverbs; and Correcting Your
Spelling. Each section includes three to four thematic
units with self-tests, a Thinking and Writing section,
Strategies for Success, and Answers and Explanations for th
e units activities. The text begins and ends with skills
checks (Check What You Know and Check What You've Learned,
and includes a glossary.
